My Approach
I take an Integrative approach in developing a treatment plan tailored to your individual needs, which simply means that I incorporate key components from various evidence-based practices. By focusing on the unique individual needs and strengths, I tailor a plan to build upon skills you already are equipped with and build coping skills in the areas that need support and development.
I utilize Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), which helps identify and challenge negative thought patterns and behaviors. CBT is also the gold standard in the treatment of a variety of disorders including depression and anxiety. Also, utilizing Acceptance Commitment Therapy (ACT), which helps individuals develop acceptance and mindfulness skills. Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), focuses on further developing emotional regulation and interpersonal skills. Overall helping each build upon their current strengths and unique individual needs to support growth and healing
